Colorescience Foundation Brush Review | Foundation & Bronzer In 1 With SPF 20

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Colorscience Foundation Brush SPFColorescience Foundation Brush has a built SPF 20 and it offers refills in 11 different shades. This sounds like a good product. I like the fact it has a built in SPF, this is very important for protecting your skin against sun damage.

It is supposed to give flawless coverage that feels weightless and you apparently don't need to use a lot of product. If that's true, that is another plus for this product.

Does it really work?

I have looked on a lot of review sites to find something negative about this product but I can't find one. This foundation brush has brill reviews. Here is a list of some of the comments ladies from Amazon said:

  • Compact
  • Easy to use
  • Non messy mineral makeup
  • Light weight and flawless finish

Ingredients

Titanium Dioxide, Bismuth Oxychloride, Iron Oxide, Mica. May Contain: Manganese Violet, Ultramarine Blue, Chromium Oxide, Carmine.

Colorescience Foundation Brush SPF 20 sells for around $60. Which is very expensive but the reviews speak for themselves. I didn't hear any makeup guru's complaining about the price. If its in your budget maybe it wouls be worth while to give it a try.

Colorescience have tested it and said it is waterproof for up to eight hours. There are darker shades available so you can use it as a bronzer and foundation in one.

Benefit Cosmetics Review | Dark-Light Natural Powder Matte Bronzers

Friday, August 6th, 2010

Benefit BronzerBenefit Cosmetics have made a wide range of bronzers. There should be a color to suit every skin tone. Apparently these bronzers will make you look like a goddess, says Benefit.

There is no shiny or glittery effect to these bronzers they are all matte affect. Which personally I think is a good thing as they look more natural that way.

I have got to say from most of the reviews I have read, nearly all are positive. One lady from makeupalley.com says. Benefit is her "holy grail" bronzer.

These bronzers come with a free application brush, but according to most reviews, the brush looks cute but is useless.

Some users of Benefit Cosmetics bronzers have found them too dark for their skin tone, but say they make a good blush instead.

This is a list of the colors available:

  • Dallas - for medium to dark skin
  • Hoola - for medium skin
  • Sugar bomb - Light pinky skin
  • 10 - most skin tones
  • Thrrrob - lighter skin to give a flush look (pinky)

If you are interested in purchasing Benefits Cosmetics Bronzers they retail for $28 each. This is expensive compared to a lot of other good bronzers out there.
