Covergirl has had the formula ophthalmologically tested. It is hypoallergenic and suitable for use while wearing contact lens. This mascara is also available in a waterproof formula.

LashBlast is available in 4 colors: very black, black, black brown and brown. The wand is a new design that Covergirl says it has 50% more bristles than the standard brush. This is to make sure very lash gets coated with the formula and to prevent clumps.

There are mixed emotions when it comes to this mascara with most ladies singing its praises and some barely whispering!

The majority of users found it worked well for them and gave them volumized, natural and clump free lashes.

However, others found it to be a little messy and clumpy to use and didn't think it made much difference to the appearance of their lashes.

It is only $6 which is a bargain if it works! Could be worth a try seeing as most people found it worked wonders for their lashes.

This mascara comes in a very black shade and has a comb like applicator wand which is quite unique. It is designed to comb each individual lash to provide maximum coverage and separation.

Maybelline have had the mascara tested by an ophthalmologist and it is safe to be used when wearing contact lens.

To Sum Up

Lash Stylist has very good reviews on amazon and makeupalley with the majority of users commenting on how much it lengthens and thickens their lashes without clumping.

Some users have said they find it very difficult to remove but unfortunately this is the downside to most waterproof mascara's. One fan did say she found it easy to remove with a little baby oil.

Maybelline lash stylist mascara retails for a very reasonable $8.58 considering some brands can be nearly double the price.

Chanel Inimitable Mascara Volume Length Curl Separation Review | Waterproof Brown or Black Formula

Chanel Imitable MascaraChanel Inimitable Mascara is formulated to give lashes volume, length, curl, great separation and it should be waterproof too.

Apparently it has a unique brush design that helps deliver all the above. Personally I can't see any difference from this brush to any of the standard ones. Chanel just says it's unique but doesn't go into detail about how it's unique. An important detail that maybe it should remember to add in.

Users conclusions

  • Gentle for sensitive eyes
  • Dark black

Cons

  • Expensive
  • No better than cheaper brands

Tips

A great way for applying mascara quickly but flawlessly is to put the wand as close to the bottom of the lashes you can, then pull up slowly while twirling the wand. This should give an even coverage without having to do another coat.

Also, when dipping your mascara in the tube don't pull in and out to coat with formula. This just pushing air in coursing mascara to dry up quicker. Just twist the wand around a couple times while in the vile to coat.

Ingredients

I was unable to find the ingredients contained in this mascara other than that it contains Pro-Vitamin B5.

To sum up

On the whole users found that it worked reasonably well, but considering it can cost up to $60 they didn't think it gave them the wow factor that Chanel promises. You can get it for $10 or under on ebay.

A few people did love it though and found it worked for them. So I suggest if you are thinking of buying it, test it in the store to see what you think first. After-all it is a lot of money to spend on a mascara that may not work!

Givenchy Phenomen Eyes Mascara Review | Defined & Lengthened False Lash Effect

Givenchy MascaraI find this Givenchy Phenomen Eyes Mascara quite interesting. The ball shaped wand is a unique design, it is supposed to reach every lash and adapt to all eye shapes.

Phenomen Eyes Mascara is designed to hold the curl of the lash and leave them evenly spread for a "panoramic effect", says Givenchy.

Miss L. Chin says Phenomen is the "Holy Grail" of mascara's. Many ladies from makeupalley.com think this mascara is fabulous. It lengthens, separates each lash and also manages to reach even the tinniest lashes. Many users also like the very dark black color.

There are some people that aren't so happy with the results of this Givenchy mascara. Cosmonautte from makeupalley.com thinks there is a default in the formula as it takes ages to dry. Quite a few girls have had trouble using the wand and say it leaves smudges.

Blinc Kiss Me Mascara Review | Thickens, Lengthens & Its Waterproof

Blinc Kiss Me MascaraBlinc Kiss Me Mascara is not oil based like most other mascaras, so it should be less likely to smudge, run clump or flake. This makes it a good choice for people with sensitive eyes or who have to wear contacts.

It forms tubes around the lashes, they are designed to make the lashes look thicker and to give them more length. Even though it is waterproof, Blinc is easily removed with water. Just saturate the lashes with water then rub gently. It should come off easily and not cause any lash loss, which is a huge plus.

Most of the reviews on Amazon are very positive about Blinc mascara and say it does thicken and lengthen lashes with no smudging.

Although there are a few ladies who weren't impressed by the mascara. They say that it does thicken but doesn't lengthen. Some even found it to clump and give that dreaded spider leg effect, which we all hate.

MAC Zoom Lash Mascara Review | Defining, Lengthening & Long Lasting

Most of my makeup is Mac, I just love there products. But! That's why I can't believe I'm going to say this, "Beware of Macs Zoom Lash Mascara".

While I was doing my makeup course at beauty school I got a full Mac Makeup kit. Well, like any girl I was thrilled. There was just one thing missing, a "Mac mascara". My Teacher had changed it for a Maybelline one instead.

I asked her why we didn't get Mac mascara, she said Mac mascaras are never that good. Now I can see why she opted for another brand after reading reviews on the Zoom!

Macs Zoom Lash Mascara is supposed to leave your lashes looking volumized, but from the reviews I've read all it seems to leave is a smudged mess!

It seems that a lot of ladies don't like the Zoom, according to reviews on Epinions.com. They say the wand isn't precise, it builds up product and clumps. Some users have even commented on the bad smell of the mascara.

Although there are some ladies that have found it works for them and leaves their lashes full, lengthens and defined.

If you want to try Mac Zoom Lash Mascara for yourself it costs $9.99. Which is a very reasonable price.

Christian Dior Diorshow Mascara Review | Long Lasting Lash Thickening & Lengthening Effect

Dior MascaraDiorshow Mascara by Dior. This mascara is supposed to give you thick, long and curled lashes for that desired false lash effect. Apparently Makeup artists all over the world use Dior to create "show stopping lashes".

The Mascara comes in 3 colors black, brown and blue.

I'm sure everyone knows the name "Dior". It's a pretty good well known brand, that unfortunately has obtained the high price tags we could all live without.

Is Diorshow Mascara worth the high price tag?

Well that would be for you to decide. A lot of the reviews on Amazon and Sephora.com are positive. Most Dior enthusiasts think the mascara is amazing and definitely worth the money. One Dior fan even said, "Spending $24 on mascara is a sin, but I don't care... I am going to hell with *gorgeous* lashes!!!".

Although there are quite a few ladies who think it's not any better than the cheap drug store brands, so not worth the high price tag.

Dior Diorshow Mascara is expensive at $24 a pop, considering you can by other good brand mascara's for half the price. Although if you shop around you can pick it up at a lot lower price.
