T3 Bespoke Labs 83808-SE Featherweight Professional Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Dryer Review | Light Weight & Fast Drying

Friday, August 13th, 2010

T3 Bespoke Labs Hair DryerBespoke Labs Featherweight Professional Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer is a powerful 1800 watts, but it only weighs 13 ounces. It also comes with a removable filter and screen, 2 speed settings and cool shot, as well as an ionized concentrator.

It promises to:

  • Dry hair 60% faster
  • Eliminate the "frizzy look"
  • Add moisture & sheen

This certainly sounds like a good hair dryer especially if it eliminates frizz. I hate blow drying my hair cause it looks so fluffy and feels dry after wards.

There are mixed reviews on this product. One person from epinions.com says how the hair dryer made her hair look healthier, shinier and cut down her drying time.

While another user said it was a waste of money because it isn't very powerful and didn't cut down her drying time. That was the main reason she brought it.

To Sum Up

I think this hair dryer would be best suited for when traveling as it is lightweight and for someone with short or fine hair, as some ladies found it wasn't powerful enough to dry their thick long hair.

T3 Bespoke Labs 83808-SE Featherweight Professional Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Dryer can be bought for $91.95 as it is on sale. It normally costs $200. Which I think is a lot to spend on a hair dryer, but if it stops hair from frizzing it may be worth it.

Lauren from beauty.com loves 'Clean', she says it leaves her hair with a clean scent that her boyfriend really likes. Other fans say, it lasts a long time, helps tame fly-aways and has a pleasant fruity/powdery smell.

Although there are quite a few users that think it is too expensive for a product that makes your hair smell like over soaped laundry.

  • 1 Butanol
  • Water (Purified)

Although this product is made only of natural ingredients. One user says it may not be good for people that have pollen allergies, as it has an overwhelming floral scent.

Jonathan Product Redo Freshen-Up MistJonathan Product, Redo freshen-Up Mist is a spray that can be used on skin or hair. It is designed to save you time on those slightly rushed days. Instead of having to wash your hair, just give it a spray with Redo and it should freshen up your luscious locks.

But does it really work?

Quite a lot of Redo users would agree that it does! Amanda from Columbia City says, it revives her frizzy/curly hair to be soft and beautiful. Violeta from New York used Redo and said it left her hair looking greasy and limp, so she had to wash it anyway. There are a few other people that have had these results too!

This might not be a good product for people who have greasy hair. As it may make it seem greasier. Many of the users that Redo didn't work for were those that have greasy hair.

Original Moroccan Oil By Moroccan Oil Review | Helps Repair, Thicken & Smooth Damaged Hair

    Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Moroccan OilTo be honest I had never heard of this Moroccan oil until today. Now I have done my research and read a lot of reviews, I want to try it!

It is a oil that is designed to restore the natural shine and softness to damaged over styled hair.

Moroccan oil comes from the fruits of a Argan tree, which is found in the south west of Morocco. It thrives in dessert like conditions. Moroccan women use this oil to condition their hair and skin. To help protect it from the harsh heat conditions.

Most of the reviews from Amazon and Folica.com are very enthusiastic about this oil. Moroccan oil lovers say how their hair looks so much shinier, smoother and in some cases, it has even helped to thicken the hair.

There are some users that don't care for it. They said it leaves their hair a bit greasy and didn't spread evenly throughout their hair. So some parts were smooth and frizz free while other sections were left greasy.

To get the best results from the Moroccan oil, apply a dime sized amount to your palm, rub palms together and apply to just washed towel dried hair. Starting from the tips then working it in all over.

    Ingredients

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl Methyl Propional, Argania Spinoza Kernel Oil (Argan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone.

This Moroccan Oil is expensive at around $20-$40 a bottle but most users think it's worth the price. Apparently it lasts a long time because not much is needed, say some Folica.com reviews.

    Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Paul Mitchell Flat IronThe Paul Mitchell Smoothing Flat Iron has a express ion complex which is designed to protect hair against heat damage.

There are different opinions about the Paul Mitchell Iron. Some reviews on Folica.com say it's brilliant, better than the Chi Iron. It makes hair "silky smooth" with very little effort, say a few Paul Mitchell fans.

While other ladies say they have had a lot of problems with the wiring (the irons cut out all the time) and some have said their PM irons have set on fire. One unfortunate lady said the straighteners burnt her hair and made it look in terrible condition.

    Features:

    • Solid ceramic heaters provide even heat distribution.
    • 1 ¼-inch cushion plates.
    • Beveled edges ensure you don't get that horrid line.
    • Slim plate design.
    • Variable temperature settings designed so hair doesn't get burnt.
    • Heats up from 0 to 400 degrees in 60 seconds.
    • Energy efficient, using 75 watts of electricity.
    • 9-foot swivel cord.
    • ROHS Certified
    • Express ion complex

If you still want to purchase the Paul Mitchell Smoothing Flat Iron it varies in price from $60-$160.

Just a warning to anyone who is thinking of buying these straighteners, they have been discontinued by some manufacturers. I think this might be because of the wiring problems some people have had.

GHD PinkWell I think most girls know the name GHD (good hair day) by now. These irons are effortlessly on-trend in gloss 80s-vibe fuchsia pink, you can straighten, curl, wave or flip your hair. Same as most irons now days.

Users say it is great because their hair has never looked better. One user says she likes the sleep mode as it's really safe, she has left other irons on before only to find they have burnt furniture. "They keep your hair looking fab for longer than other irons", says another GHD fanatic.

The only negative thing I can say about the GHD Pink IV Styler is that its expensive. The price hasn't put many people off though, most of the users still think it is great value for money.

    Features include:

    • ROUNDER BARREL:= to easily create curls and waves.

    Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Chi Ceramic Flat IronThe Chi Digital Flat Iron looks like an overall good set of straighteners. It has a digital heat setting and comes with a cute little travel case.

I have looked at a lot of reviews on the Chi Digital iron and have found many mixed opinions.

Some ladies reviews on Folica say the Chi Digital irons have worked miracles on their curly/wavy hair making it feel like "silk". Others think it is great because of the digital reading function (this prevents heat damage to the hair) and because the iron eliminates bacteria once heated.

Some unlucky ladies have said that it doesn't work on their curly/wavy hair and the Chi Has has actually fried the ends coursing it to turn white. A few unhappy Chi customers from the Folica site have also said not to buy the Chi as it's a waste of money.

    Product Features

    • Ceramic plates
    • 1" Flat iron
    • Beveled plate edges.
    • Chi ceramic technology
    • Digital technology - heats up to 200 C (392 F)

    • Swivel Cord
    • Digital readout with temperature adjuster
    • Chi fashion bag fits Chi flat Iron for travel

If you are interested in purchasing this Chi Ceramic Digital Iron it retails for around $80-$90. This is a good price for a Chi Flat Iron as some other models are a lot more expensive.
